Abstract(s)
No âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Social e Intervenção Comunitária, a presente investigação visa apresentar os resultados da pesquisa e análise relativamente aos Centros de Apoio Familiar e Aconselhamento Parental (CAFAP) que tomou como referência empírica a produção académica realizada no ensino superior a nível nacional e disponibilizada no Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto em Portugal (RCAAP) entre 2008 e 2015. Este período abarcou a fase em que a problemática da promoção e proteção de crianças e jovens esteve em destaque a nível nacional e internacional. Não obstante, continua atualmente a revestir-se de grande complexidade, entre outros motivos, pelos múltiplos olhares sobre a intervenção com este grupo social e com as suas famílias.
Os problemas familiares levam a que muitas vezes, seja necessária a intervenção de serviços especializados no sentido de assegurar os direitos das crianças e jovens. O enfoque da pesquisa desenvolvida assentou nos CAFAP.
Do ponto de vista metodológico, trata-se de uma investigação de natureza qualitativa tendo por base a análise documental das oito produções académicas identificadas e analisadas que tinham como objeto e/ou como espaço de intervenção os CAFAP na sociedade portuguesa
Os resultados do estudo apontam para uma escassez de investigações sobre os CAFAP e a ausência de trabalhos produzidos na área da Educação Social e Intervenção Comunitária.
ABSTRACT In the scope of the Master in Community Education and Intervention, this research aims to present the results of the research and analysis about the Centres for Family Support and Parental Counselling [CAFAP] that took as an empirical reference the academic production carried out in higher education at national level, between 2008 and 2015, which was available in the Scientific Repositories of Open Access in Portugal [RCAAP] in the period under review. At a time when discourses on the promotion and protection of children and young people are increasingly prominent nationally and internationally. Nevertheless, it continues to be complex, among other reasons, due to the multiple perspectives on the intervention with this social group and with the families. Family problems often lead to the intervention of specialized services in order to ensure the rights of children. The focus of the research developed was based on the Centers for Family Support and Parental Counselling [CAFAP]. From the methodological point of view, this is a qualitative research based on the content analysis of the eight academic productions identified and analysed that had as object and / or as intervention space the CAFAP in Portuguese society. The results of the study point to a lack of research on CAFAP and the lack of work produced in the area of Social Education and Community Intervention.
