Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT - This Internship Report is taught at the School of Dance of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon. It aims at the discipline of Classical Dance of the School of Arts of the Conservatory of Music of Coimbra, in the academic year 2018/2019, in a class of boys of the 2nd year of the Basic Dance Course, of the Specialized Artistic Dance Teaching. Considering the Classical Dance Technique the pillar of the formation of a dancer and the Allegro section, as one of the most important in the academic and professional career of a male dancer, we understand as fundamental to improve the students performance in the work of this section, focusing our choice on the 2nd year of the Basic Dance Course, as we believe that this specific work should start from the ground up. In Specialized Artistic Dance Education in Portugal, there is a shortage of pupils in most schools, which leads to the need for the formation of mixed classes. Given this reality, we also want to justify and reinforce the importance of learning some particularities of boys' work exclusively, but not neglecting the importance of working in a mixed class context. For the practical implementation of this internship we chose the methodology based on action research, using as research instruments, structured observation, logbook, recording by video recording and image, and interview by questionnaire, which were developed in a cycle. of steps of observation, planning, action and reflection. Based on the collection and analysis of the data obtained and the teaching methodology adopted by the cooperating school, we developed lesson plans that met the specific objectives we defined (strengthen the muscular work of the lower limbs, the abdominal area and the lumbar zone; cardiovascular resistance and thrust of the jump; working the stretching of the lower limbs during the jumping and the ground reception; and working the coordination of the upper and lower limbs) to fulfill the general purpose that we set ourselves.
