Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT This report highlights the intentions and processes experienced in professional practice over a period of four months (October to January), as well as research, critical reflection and evaluation of the process of educational intervention in a context of kindergarten, more specifically with children between the ages of 3 and 6. In this sense, starting from the emerging interests of children as a relevant factor in the planning of educational action, as well as my interests to deepen the reflection on the pertinence of the use of the Project Work Methodology in pre-school education and about my own practice, always trying to reflect and adapt the educational proposals to the group, I carried out a qualitative research about the practice, in order to identify strategies that promote the active participation of the children in the context of kindergarten. Using the data collected through the observations, questionnaires and reflective records, I analyzed and presented the final considerations, which indicate that the strategies that promoted children's participation were related to: assigning responsibility to all children through decision-making, encouraging to participate through positive feedback on their interventions, and finally to consider the characteristics of children and, in this sense, provide equal opportunity for participation.
