Abstract(s)
O objetivo do estudo centra-se na análise da importância da Logística Reversa nos pneus, ou seja, de que forma se consegue dar uma nova vida aos pneus ou aos seus componentes evitando o desperdício de matérias-primas e o consumo excessivo das mesmas.
Sendo o pneu um material que poderá demorar cerca de 600 anos a decompor-se na natureza, a correta reciclagem e reaproveitamento dos pneus é fundamental tanto a níveis ambientais como económicos.
As características qualitativas e quantitativas serão recolhidas através de inquérito em forma de questionário e análise documental da empresa Valorpneu.
A valorização dos pneus usados faz com que as emissões de gases poluentes e consumo de energia sejam evitados reduzindo o impacto ambiental, sendo o pneu decomposto em borracha, aço e têxtil que servira para diversos fins diferenciados, mas com o objetivo de reduzir para além das emissões e consumo de energia como também o consumo de novas matérias-primas.
É um tema que precisa de ser cada vez mais divulgado e dado a conhecer a cada vez mais pessoas, para que em conjunto, haja uma maior consciencialização do tema, fazendo com que as gerações futuras possam gerir melhor o consumo deste material, optando por outras vias de deslocação diárias mais benéficas para o ambiente, como andar mais a pé ou bicicleta.
The objective of the study focuses on the analysis of the importance of Reverse Logistics in tires, i.e., how to give a new life to tires or their components avoiding the waste of raw materials and excessive consumption of them. Since tires are a material that may take about 600 years to decompose in nature, the proper recycling and reuse of tires is essential both environmentally and economically. The qualitative and quantitative characteristics will be collected through a survey in the form of a questionnaire and document analysis of the company Valorpneu. The valorization of used tires makes the emissions of pollutant gases and energy consumption to be avoided by reducing the environmental impact, being the tire decomposed into rubber, steel and textile that will serve for various different purposes, but with the aim of reducing not only emissions and energy consumption but also the consumption of new raw materials. It is a topic that needs to be increasingly disseminated and made known to more and more people, so that together there is a greater awareness of the issue, making future generations can better manage the consumption of this material, opting for other ways of daily travel more beneficial to the environment, such as walking or cycling.
