Resumo I (Prática Pedagógica) - O Relatório de Estágio foi concebido no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Estágio do Ensino Especializado, Mestrado em Ensino da Música pela Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa.
Assim, este documento assenta sobre a observação e prática pedagógica desenvolvida na Ourearte – Escola de Música e Artes de Ourém, no ano letivo 2018-2019, abrangendo três alunos de diferentes graus de ensino.
Neste Relatório será caracterizado o estabelecimento de ensino onde decorreu o estágio, assim como o desempenho que cada aluno teve durante o ano letivo, salientando os aspetos de competência motora, auditiva e expressiva. Este trabalho consistiu na avaliação do desempenho do mestrando enquanto docente de trompete, permitindo a reflexão sobre os pontos bons e menos bons do trabalho realizado, para que no futuro seja possível atingir um nível mais elevado na atividade enquanto docente profissionalizado.
Resumo II (Investigação) - A investigação a desenvolver terá como objetivo a prática de trechos de orquestra nas aulas de trompete no ensino especializado da música e quais os benefícios associados a este tipo de prática. Para enriquecer a investigação, serão também levantados dados, por inquérito, dirigidos a alunos de trompete de entre o 5º ao 8º grau, de forma a reunir informações necessárias sobre a prática de trechos de orquestra nos conservatórios em Portugal e qual a motivação associada a este tipo de prática por parte dos alunos. Este trabalho tem como finalidade perceber se os alunos se sentem motivados para a prática de trechos de orquestra e se os docentes devem ter ferramentas pedagógicas para este tipo de ensino que, neste momento é escasso no nosso país.
Abstract I (Teaching) - The internship report is designed under the Course of Specialized Education Stage, Master in Teaching of Music by the “Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa”. This document is based on the observation and pedagogical practices developed while teaching at the Ourearte – Escola de Música e Artes de Ourém in the academic year 2018-2019, utilizing three students of differing educational levels. This report will characterize the educational institution where the internship took place, as well as the instruction that each student received during the school year, highlighting the aspects of motor ability, hearing and expressiveness. In addition, this work includes a self-assessment of teaching ability based on planning, implementation, and reflection of weekly trumpet instruction.
Abstract II (Research) - The research presented here is an examination of resulting benefits achieved through the incorporation of orchestral passages into trumpet instruction, within the environment of specialized music education. In order to gather information concerning current orchestral instruction in the music schools of Portugal and the student motivation associated with this type of instruction, additional research will be conducted utilizing a questionnaire presented to trumpet students ranging from the fifth to eighth grade. As orchestral study in Portugal is rare for trumpet students of this age group, the objective of this investigation is to document the level of student motivation for practicing orchestral passages, and to determine if trumpet teachers should have specific pedagogical tools to enable this type of instruction.
