Abstract(s)
La continua evoluciĆ³n de la marimba junto con las mejoras de la tĆ©cnica instrumental, aumentan las posibilidades sonoras y expresivas del instrumento. Por tanto nosotros como intĆ©rpretes debemos plantearnos nuevas formas de ejecuciĆ³n, conocer los diferentes recursos disponibles que nos permitan optimizar el potencial sonoro del instrumento y evolucionar junto a Ć©l y su repertorio.
El siguiente trabajo presenta una explicaciĆ³n de las caracterĆsticas acĆŗsticas del instrumento, la aplicaciĆ³n de las diferentes tĆ©cnicas existentes y las posibles formas de articulaciĆ³n. Para ello he realizado tres transcripciones de estilos musicales diversos, haciendo un recorrido histĆ³rico desde el barroco hasta la actualidad. En las cuales he intentado aplicar una amplia gama de articulaciones y recursos tĆ©cnicos.
ABSTRACT - The continuous evolution of the marimba with the improvements in the instrumental technique, increase the sound and expressive possibilities of the instrument. Therefore we as interpreters must consider new ways of execution, knowing the different resources that allow us to optimize the sonic potential of the instrument and evolve with it and its repertoire. This work presents an explanation of the acoustic properties of the instrument, the application of the different techniques and the possible forms of articulations. For this, I made three transcriptions of various musical styles, making a historical journey from the Baroque to the present. In which I've tried to apply a wide range of articulations and technical resources.
