Abstract(s)
através das opiniões de colegas e professores se foi reformulando o argumento;
A dialéctica
ABSTRACT - This report is about the docudrama short film Second rate Poetry, a cinematographic project whose screenplay was presented and developed, since May 2011, at the dramatic writing classes of Lisbon Theatre and Film School (Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema) Theatre master's course. The presentation of a cinematographic work as a final project of a master course in Theatre, is justifiable by the importance of the course’s contributions, regarding the rewriting of the screenplay, during the he course's classes, where the opinions of colleagues and teachers were determinant to the reformulation of the screenplay, and also, regarding the production of the film, through artistic collaborations that were initiated during the course. The film is based on an historical event, a literary awards ceremony that took place in Lisbon, 21st February 1935. The initial writing of the screenplay dates mid 2006, the shooting started in October 2011 and the film was premiered in September 2012 at the XVIII Festroia. The report describes and analyzes, by chronological order, each production stage of the film, particularly when the screenplay was presented has a work in progress at the master's course dramatic writing classes, where the film's screenplay was influenced by a contemporary dramatic language, commonly designated as Devised Theater. The conceptual dialectic process between the underlying principles of the north-american scriptwriting model, of Aristotelian matrix, that until then guided the writing of the screenplay, along with the principles of Devised theater, based on a performative contemporary framework, lead to, not only the rewriting of the text of the screenplay, but also to the redefinition of the role of the text itself in the production of the film.
