Abstract(s)
Background - This study evaluates the effectiveness of the decalcification process, comparing water decalcifiers – Nitric Acid 10 %, for compact bone, and Surgipath® Decalcifier® II (SD® II), for spongy bone – and the new commercial formula, Fast Decalcifier, for both types. Objective: To compare the effectiveness of decalcifiers through the study of morphology, preservation and quality of bone biological samples.
