Pinto de Campos atingiu quase o estatuto de figura mítica como figurinista e cenógrafo para o Teatro de Revista à Portuguesa, mas normalmente omite-se o seu trabalho para um teatro mais erudito e até experimental, caso da sua profícua colaboração com o Teatro Experimental de cascais e com o encenador desta companhia, Carlos Avilez, o que se analisa no presente texto.
ABSTRACT - Pinto de Campos nearly attained mythical status as a costume and set designer for the traditional Teatro de Revista à Portuguesa (Portuguese Revue Theatre), but his work for more highbrow and even experimental theatre is usually overlooked. This includes his prolific collaboration with the Teatro Experimental de Cascais and with the company's director, Carlos Avilez, which is the focus of the present text.
