O presente relatório descreve o estágio realizado na produtora de ficção serializada, SP, onde desempenhei a função de reader. A partir do conhecimento obtido no seu departamento de argumentistas, proponho uma reflexão sobre as suas mecânicas de tratamento de narrativas dramáticas, numa observação comparativa com as narrativas seriais complexas, disseminadas pela indústria americana. Com foco no mercado comercial mainstream onde se insere a SP, a análise irá posteriormente dedicar-se à forma como esta capta a audiência através do storytelling, enfatizando em particular, o desenvolvimento dos seus personagens.
ABASTRACT - This report describes the internship carried out in the serial fiction producer, SP, where I worked as a reader. Based on the knowledge I gained in its screenwriter department, I propose a reflection on their treatment mechanics of dramatic narratives, in a comparative observation with the serial narrative’s complexity, disseminated by the north-american industry. Focusing in the mainstream commercial market, where SP operates, the study will later be dedicated to the strategies with which their storytelling engages its audience, emphasizing in particular its character development.
