Abstract(s)
Este estudo situa-se na área temática da educação artística em cursos do ensino
profissional, e pretende contribuir para a construção de evidencias sobre o lugar das
Artes na Educação como área promotora de qualidade de vida -; aprendizagem para a
vida, vivida a partir de experiências artístico-expressivas integradas em trabalho de
projeto que considerou as autorrepresentações e concetualizações percorridas pela
subjetividade dos alunos. Esta viagem de aprendizagem, foi vivenciada numa
metodologia que se quis comprometer com a aceção de uma escolaridade participada,
pelo mapeamento de lugares de encontro e ressignificação do ambiente educativo,
estendido ao espaço cultural, e buscou fundamentar a sua relevância a partir de uma
visão de currículo para a leitura do mundo, numa lógica de fruição/contemplação,
reflexão/observação, participação/comunicação. Participaram no estudo, grupos/turma
do ensino profissional: Curso Técnico de Apoio à Infância, Curso Técnico de Apoio
Psicossocial contando também com a presença do Curso Técnico de Auxiliar de Saúde
numa das ações desenvolvidas no projeto de intervenção. O estudo foi desenvolvido
em projeto de investigação-ação e teve como objetivo compreender em que sentido a
educação artística se relaciona com a aquisição de competências que se estabelecem
numa perspetiva – educação para a vida –, num percurso que se fez percorrendo os
conceitos de: qualidade, competência, compromisso e felicidade. Como opções
metodológicas optou-se por uma abordagem qualitativa embora recorrendo também a
tratamento de dados quantitativos, sempre integrados numa perspetiva qualitativa.
Como técnicas e instrumentos de recolha e análise de dados, foram utilizados:
Observação sistemática e participante, questionários e análise documental, recorrendo
depois à triangulação de técnicas de recolha de dados para assegurar a credibilidade
dos resultados, bem como garantir a complexidade, riqueza e profundidade do estudo.
A metodologia fez emergir linhas de reflexão, na voz dos alunos, sobre a sua relação
com o sentido da sua própria escolaridade.
ABSTRACT This study is located in the thematic area of artistic education in professional education courses, and aims to contribute to the construction of evidence on the place of the Arts in Education as an area promoting quality of life -; learning for life, lived from artistic-expressive experiences integrated in project work that considered the selfrepresentations and concetualizations covered by the subjectivity of the students. This learning trip was carried out in a methodology that was intended to be committed to the idea of a participatory schooling, by mapping places of encounter and re-signification of the educational environment, extended to the cultural space, and sought to substantiate its relevance from a vision of curriculum for reading the world, in a logic of fruition / contemplation, reflection / observation, participation / communication. Participating in the study, groups / groups of professional education: Technical Course of Support to Childhood, Technical Course of Psychosocial Support also counting with the presence of Technical Course of Health Assistant in one of the actions developed in the intervention project. The study was developed in an action research project and had as objective to understand in what sense the artistic education is related to the acquisition of competences that are established in a perspective - education for life -, in a course that has been traversed the concepts of: quality, competence, commitment and happiness. As methodological options, a qualitative approach was chosen, but also the use of quantitative data, always integrated in a qualitative perspective. Data collection and analysis techniques and instruments were used: Systematic and participant observation, questionnaires and documentary analysis, then using the triangulation of data collection techniques to ensure the credibility of the results, as well as guarantee the complexity, richness and depth of the study. The methodology gave rise to lines of reflection, in the students' voice, about their relation with the meaning of their own schooling.
