Este trabalho visa a uma reflexĂŁo sobre as competĂȘncias de escrita
dos alunos Ă chegada ao Ensino Superior. SĂŁo descritas e analisadas
as principais dificuldades manifestadas pelos alunos no que diz
respeito ao domĂnio das tĂ©cnicas de escrita e Ă prĂłpria correção
linguĂstica. Faz-se ainda uma anĂĄlise dos programas de LĂngua
Portuguesa, para o Ensino SecundĂĄrio, destacando-se as
competĂȘncias descritas como nucleares, no ensino da escrita. A
partir daĂ, tenta-se explicar a existĂȘncia de diferentes domĂnios de
escrita, que podem ser explicados pela influĂȘncia da famĂlia,
nomeadamente o nĂvel de escolarização dos pais, e pela frequĂȘncia
do ensino pré-escolar.
Abstract This study aims at reflecting on the writing skills of students on their arrival at college. The study describes and analyzes the main difficulties experienced by students with regard to the field of writing techniques and linguistic accuracy. An analysis of the Portuguese Language Program, at Secondary Education is also made, with emphasis on core competencies as outlined in the teaching of writing. We attempt to explain the existence of different levels of writing, which can be justified by the predominant role of the family, namely the parentâs education, and by enrollment in kindergarten.
