Abstract(s)
O Projeto de Intervenção “Desenvolvimento de Competências Pessoais e Sociais com Crianças em Acolhimento Residencial. Um projeto de intervenção” teve como principal objetivo promover espaços-tempos para e com as crianças que vivem numa casa de acolhimento residencial, onde fossem promovidas e desenvolvidas algumas competências pessoais e sociais, nomeadamente, a nível da gestão de conflitos, das capacidades de comunicação/partilha e da dimensão emocional.
O presente projeto reporta-se à intervenção realizada com nove crianças, cinco do sexo masculino e quatro do sexo feminino, entre os 5 e os 13 anos de idade, que vivem num Centro de Acolhimento Temporário, integrado numa Instituição Particular de Solidariedade Social, localizado na área metropolitana de Lisboa.
A intervenção realizada no período de 5 de março a 21 de maio de 2017 foi pensada a partir de um quadro mais amplo de discussão sobre as crianças e jovens que estão integrados no Sistema Nacional de Acolhimento de Crianças e Jovens e de uma matriz multidisciplinar, que tentou colocar em diálogo a Educação Social, a Psicologia e a Sociologia da Infância.
Do ponto de vista da ação, com base em outros programas de desenvolvimento de competências, foi desenvolvido um projeto de intervenção de natureza qualitativa, assente num processo de diagnóstico, de planificação de um conjunto de atividades com as crianças, da sua implementação e, finalmente da sua avaliação.
Da análise dos dados recolhidos foi possível i) identificar as atividades Reconhecimento e Expressão de Emoções (B1) e Amizade (C) como aquelas que as crianças reconheceram como as mais significativas, as que mais gostaram, as mais marcantes e aquelas em que mais aprenderam e b) mapear, a partir dos discursos das crianças, a permanência do que denomiam mau comportamento e falta de atenção. Não obstante, a maioria das crianças considerou o projeto de intervenção relevante.
ABSTRACT The main purpose of this Intervention Project "Development of Personal and Social Competences with Children in Residential Care" was to promote space-time for and with children living in a residential home where personal and social skills were promoted and developed, in particular, conflict management, communication/sharing skills and on an emotional level. The present project concerns the intervention carried out with nine children, five male and four female, between the ages of 5 and 13, who live in a Temporary Foster Care Center, integrated in a Private Social Solidarity Institution, located in the metropolitan area of Lisbon. The intervention took place in the period from March 5 to May 21, 2017 was framed within a broader discussion about children and young people who are integrated into the National Care System from a multidisciplinary matrix between Social Education, Psychology and Sociology of Childhood. From the point of view of the action, based on other proposals of programs that promote and develop competences, an intervention project of qualitative ature was developed based on a diagnostic process - planning of a set of activities with the children - implementation - evaluation. From data analysis collected it was possible to: i) identify the activities Recognition and Expression of Emotions (B1) and Friendship (C) as those that the children recognized as the most significant, the ones that liked the most, the most remarkable ones and those in which they learned most and b) to map, from the children's discourses, the permanence of what they call bad behavior and lack of attention. Nevertheless, most of the children considered the intervention project relevant.
