Abstract(s)
O presente projeto de investigação aborda o tema “Condições de Segurança e Higiene em Ginásios - Proposta de Elaboração de Ferramenta de Avaliação de Riscos” e a sua aplicação no contexto dos Técnicos Superiores de Segurança e Higiene do Trabalho (TSSHT). A preferência deste tema relaciona-se com o facto de não existir em Portugal uma ferramenta direcionada à avaliação dos riscos laborais no setor dos ginásios, ao dispor dos TSSHT que queiram cumprir a sua função, particularmente e/ou através da contratação de outrem. Até ao momento os trabalhadores dos ginásios estão menos informados e desprotegidos dos riscos de eventuais acidentes de trabalho a que estão expostos, diariamente, que podem ocorrer, desde a “chegada” da indústria do fitness ao território nacional pela década de oitenta. Com a atual proposta de ferramenta focada na saúde e bem-estar dos trabalhadores dos ginásios, as entidades empregadoras ficam mais sensibilizadas para analisar as circunstâncias e condições de trabalho a que os seus trabalhadores ou colaboradores estão expostos. Esta ferramenta tem o intuito de alertar, informar e referenciar os riscos nos diversos contextos no setor dos ginásios, de modo a eliminar ou minimizá-los através dos princípios da promoção da segurança e saúde no trabalho. Assim, é necessária a aplicação da ferramenta de avaliação de riscos nos ginásios portugueses pelo bem de todos. Este projeto de investigação foi elaborado e apoiado através por uma revisão bibliográfica entre obras literárias técnicas, artigos técnico-científicos, diplomas legais, normas portuguesas e europeias.
ABSTRACT - This research project addresses the topic "Safety and Hygiene Conditions in Gymnasiums - Risk Assessment Tool Preparation Proposal" and its application in the context of the Occupational Safety and Hygiene Technicians (Técnicos Superiores de Segurança e Higiene do Trabalho - TSSHT). The preference of this topic is related to the fact that in Portugal there is not a tool aimed at the assessment of labour risks in the gymnasium sector, available to TSSHT who want to fulfil their function, on a privade basis and/or through the hiring of others. Up to now, gym workers are less informed and unprotected of the risks of possible occupational accidents to which they are exposed on a daily basis, which may occur since the "arrival" of the fitness industry in the national territory in the eighties. With the current proposal for a tool focused on the health and well-being of gym workers, employers become more aware of the circumstances and working conditions to which their workers or employees are exposed. This tool aims to alert, inform, and reference the risks in the different contexts in the gymnasium sector, to eliminate or minimize them through the principles of promoting safety and health at work. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the risk assessment tool in Portuguese gyms for the good of all. This research project was elaborated and supported by a bibliographic review among technical literary works, technical-scientific articles, legal diplomas, Portuguese and European standards.
