Abstract(s)
No presente trabalho, intitulado “Reescrever Bergman: A Adaptação Transnacional
de um Argumento Cinematográfico”, procurámos investigar de que forma
poderíamos adaptar um argumento cinematográfico à atualidade de um novo
contexto geográfico. Começámos por enquadrar e delinear os principais elementos
narrativos que compõem um argumento cinematográfico. Posteriormente, através
de uma análise de estudo de caso ao argumento de Cenas da Vida Conjugal, do
realizador Ingmar Bergman, em comparação com o remake da HBO, da autoria de
Hagai Levi, definimos os principais aspetos diferenciadores e os motivos centrais
que levaram à alteração dos mesmos entre as duas obras.
A partir dos conceitos apurados na revisão crítica da literatura, a par com a análise
de estudo de caso e entrevistas a profissionais da escrita de argumento e dramaturgia,
criámos o argumento de um primeiro episódio e uma bíblia de projeto que surgem
anexadas ao trabalho.
ABSTRACT: In this project, entitled "Rewriting Bergman: The Transnational Remake of a Screenplay”, we investigated how we could adapt a film script to the present time in a new geographical context. We began by framing and outlining the main narrative elements that make up a screenplay. Later, through a case study analysis of the screenplay of Ingmar Bergman's Scenes from a Marriage, compared to the HBO remake by Hagai Levi, we defined the main differentiating aspects and the main reasons that led to their change. Based on the concepts mentioned in the literature review, along with case study analysis and interviews with screenwriting and dramaturgy professionals, we created the screenplay of a first episode and a project bible that are attached to the work.
