Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação tem como intenção discutir práticas artísticas no âmbito do Teatro e Comunidade através da análise do espetáculo Rosa Esperança-projeto mulheres e o cancro da mama, que se inspirou nas histórias de várias mulheres com cancro da mama e que decidiram partilhar e expor a sua própria experiência de luta contra o cancro, como material dramatúrgico para o processo artístico.
Este trabalho pretende ser ainda uma reflexão que estimule e questione as atuais práticas e politicas artísticas comunitárias e mais concretamente, entender qual o papel que o Teatro Comunitário ocupa na comunidade enquanto fármaco - “processo de cura”, ora enquanto forma de expressão e comunicação artística através da sua dimensão transformadora de indivíduos, grupos e comunidades, entendido como “vacina”; Ora enquanto mediador de conflitos, redutor de tensões sociais, entendido como “analgésico”; Ora enquanto gerador de soluções, pondo fim a problemas dentro de um determinado grupo e ou comunidade, entendido como “antibiótico social”.
ABSTRACT - Summary This dissertation intends to discuss artistic practices within the scope of "Theater and Community" through the analysis of the show "Rosa Esperança-project Women and Breast Cancer". This show is based on the stories of several women with breast cancer who decided to share and expose their own experience in fighting cancer as dramaturgical material for the artistic process. This work also intends to be a reflection to stimulate and question current communitary artistic practices and policies and, more specifically, to understand the role that Community Theater plays in the community as a pharmaceutical - "cure process"; As a form of artistic expression and communication through its transforming dimension of individuals, groups and communities, understood as a “vaccine”; As a mediator of conflicts understood as an “analgesic”; As a generator of solutions, putting an end to problems within a given group and/or community, understood as a “social antibiotic”.
