Este relatório trata-se da componente escrita do projeto Lonely Void, do qual também faz parte o espetáculo com o mesmo nome. Este projeto realizado no âmbito do mestrado em Artes Performativas afirma-se como um trabalho de pesquisa prática e experimentação, sendo um dos seus objetivos a conjugação cénica de diferentes e variados dispositivos, estímulos e influências. Deste modo, é assim um projeto transdisciplinar que atravessa vários meios e formas, associando-os e correlacionando-os narrativa e formalmente. A música é o ponto de partida e alicerce fundamental do projeto, onde assentam todos os outros materiais, influências e referências. O propósito é construir um objeto artístico transdisciplinar original, criando um universo narrativo apoiado maioritariamente na banda sonora do filme Under the Skin. Deste ponto de partida esclarece-se e detalha-se o processo criativo, mostrando os caminhos e ramificações das temáticas e das formas sugeridas pelo ambiente sonoro. Explica-se também que contributo têm o processo mental pessoal e determinadas memórias na idealização e construção do objeto cénico. Tendo as temáticas incidido em obsessões e pensamentos intrusivos, assim como em questões de identidade e de fragmentação do sujeito, investiga-se também que carácter performativo podem tais temas adotar em cena. A pesquisa propõe ainda o estudo sobre a conjugação de todos os elementos recolhidos, musicais, literários e imagéticos, sua encenação e apresentação em palco.
ABSTRACT - This report is the written component of the project Lonely Void, which also includes the stage show of the same name. This project, carried out as part of a master's degree in Performing Arts, is a work of practical research and experimentation, one of its objectives being the scenic combination of different and varied devices, stimuli, and influences. It is therefore a transdisciplinary project that crosses various media and forms, associating and correlating them narratively and formally. Music is the starting point and fundamental foundation of the project, on which all other materials, influences, and references are based. The purpose is to construct an original transdisciplinary artistic object, creating a narrative universe based mainly on the soundtrack of the film Under the Skin. From this starting point, the creative process is clarified and detailed, showing the paths and ramifications of the themes and forms suggested by the soundtrack. The contribution of the personal mental process and certain memories to the idealization and construction of the scenic object is also explained. As the themes focus on obsessions and intrusive thoughts, as well as issues of identity and fragmentation of the self, it is also investigated what performative nature they can adopt on stage. The research also proposes a study of the combination of all the elements collected, musical, literary, and visual, which are then staged and presented.
