Abstract(s)
A taxa de envelhecimento tende a aumentar, dada a baixa taxa de natalidade e o aumento da esperança média de vida, conforme os Censos mais recentes nos indicam. Tendo em conta esta realidade, procuramos apresentar soluções para a problemática de um envelhecimento solitário e vazio, propondo a animação teatral como parte integrante para um envelhecimento ativo.
O projeto que ora se apresenta foi desenvolvido no âmbito da terceira idade num Centro de Dia na Freguesia de Benfica, concelho de Lisboa. Intitula-se Projeto DesvendAR’TE e enquadra-se na problemática do envelhecimento ativo, tendo como principal objetivo verificar o contributo da animação teatral nesta área e seu impacto no dia-a-dia de um determinado grupo de idosos.
A análise e discussão dos resultados possibilitaram a constatação de que o grupo em análise carece de orientação em atividades regulares, por ausência de iniciativa própria na execução das atividades. No entanto, após orientação e estímulo, verifica-se a participação. Todo o grupo de participantes ativos revelou interesse na realização das atividades, embora se constate falta de hábitos em atividades de grupo e atividades de animação teatral.
ABSTRACT Given the low tax of natality and the increase of the average hope of life, as the Censos most recent us indicate. Taking account of this reality, we look for to present solutions for the problematic of a solitary and empty aging, considering the theatrical animation as integrant part for an active aging. The project presented here was developed in the scope of the third age in a Day Center of Benfica village, at Lisbon city. The project is called DesvendAR’TE (overlap of Uncover Art) and fits in the problematic one of the active aging, having as main objective to verify the contribution of theatrical animation and its impacts in day-by-day of one determined group of elderly. The analysis and quarrel of the results made it possible to verify that the group in analysis lacks of orientation in regular activities, for absence of proper initiative in the execution of the activities. However, after orientation and stimulaton, it is verified the participation. All the group of active participants disclosed interest in the accomplishment of the activities, even so if it evidences lack of habits of participation in activities of group and activities of theatrical animation.
