Posturas ensinadas em Portugal no início da aprendizagem de contrabaixo: relatório de estágio

| dc.description.abstract | Resumo I – Prática Pedagógica. No início da aula de contrabaixo pergunta-se: «queres tocar em pé ou sentado?» É uma pergunta que poucos professores fazem, não só porque exige que o aluno saiba tocar das duas maneiras, mas principalmente porque cada professor tem a sua escola e opta por uma forma de ensinar, que acha que é a melhor para o aluno. Será mais conveniente dar a escolher ou determinar a posição com que o aluno vai tocar? Neste trabalho, procuram-se as respostas, analisando as várias posturas que se podem ensinar quando se toca contrabaixo. Começando pela questão elementar de estar sentado ou em pé e passando pelos vários detalhes que determinam o posicionamento do aluno em relação ao instrumento, como por exemplo, a altura a que se põe o instrumento ou a forma de apoio dos pés, acaba-se por fazer uma reflexão sobre a melhor forma de ensinar nos dias de hoje. A prática pedagógica deste ano letivo de estágio, consiste concretamente na observação das posturas adotadas por três alunos em particular. Foram ensinadas novas posturas a dois alunos e aperfeiçoadas as posturas já ensinadas a uma terceira aluna. Os resultados finais foram reveladores para a investigação que foi feita em simultâneo. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Resumo II - Investigação. O contrabaixo é um instrumento que tem a vantagem de poder ser tocado de pé ou sentado, desde que haja um banco com características específicas. Perante esta opção elementar e sabendo que a postura inicial ensinada ao aluno é marcante para toda a vida, surge a pergunta: qual a postura que se deve ensinar ao aluno na primeira aula? Com esta investigação, pretende-se alcançar um melhor conhecimento de como ensinar o aluno a posicionar-se em relação ao instrumento, tendo em conta todas as suas particularidades e também averiguar se é aconselhável ensinar os alunos de uma maneira diferente daquela que se aprendeu, ou ainda, se é salutar aprender a tocar com duas posturas diferentes, sentados e em pé. Focando o microcosmos nacional, em que se sabe à partida que coexistem diferentes maneiras de ensinar, faz-se uma viagem temporal pelos métodos e escolas que influenciaram os professores de contrabaixo em Portugal, tanto num passado remoto como nas gerações mais próximas. Esta viagem no tempo é complementada por muitas outras viagens no espaço português do ensino de contrabaixo, as quais se concretizaram com entrevistas feitas aos professores atuais do instrumento nas muitas escolas espalhadas pelo país. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract I - Teaching. At the beginning of the double bass lesson the question is asked: "do you want to play standing up or sitting down?" It is a question that few teachers ask, not only because it requires that the student knows how to play both ways, but principally because each teacher has a preferred method of teaching which he considered best for the students. Would it be more practical to give the choice to the student or impose a position in which the student must play? In this work, answers are sought, analyzing various positions that can be taught in playing the double bass. Beginning from the elementary question whether to sit or stand and passing various details that determine the position of the student in relation to the instrument- such as the height at which the instrument is held or the way in which the feet are supported- the final aim to reflect about the best methods of teaching presently employed. The teaching work of this school year consists concretely in the observation of postures adopted by three students in particular. Two students were taught new postures and a third student concentrated on perfecting the position already learnt. The final results were revealing to the investigation that was simultaneously taking place. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract II - Research. The double bass is an instrument that has the advantage that it can be played either standing or sitting, so long as there is a stool with suitable characteristics. Confronted with this elementary choice, and knowing that the position that is first taught will mark the student's future playing life, the question arises: what is the posture that should be taught in the first lesson? This investigation intends to reach a better understanding of how to teach a student to find a suitable playing position, taking into account all their particular characteristics and also enquiring into the question whether it is advisable to teach students to play in a different way from that they were originally taught, or, furthermore, if it is healthy to learn to play using both postures, sitting and standing. Focusing on the national microcosm, in which it is known that various teaching methods coexist, we do a journey in history, taking in the methods and schools that have influenced double bass teachers in Portugal, just as much in a remote past as in the closest generations. This journey in time is complemented by many other journeys in the present within the area of Portuguese double bass teaching which are concretized through interviews with present day teachers throughout the country. | por |
