Abstract(s)
Nesta investigação irá ser abordada uma temática que envolve todas as unidades curriculares do mestrado de Gestão e Empreendedorismo no ISCAL num caso prático e atual que é a equipa de polo aquático do Clube de Natação da Amadora. Este caso prático vai de encontro à vertente empreendedora do mestrado, pois este desporto além de ser ainda amador no panorama nacional, envolve bastantes custos e numa fase em que cada vez mais se vê o desaparecimento de equipas da modalidade a nível nacional, o Clube de Natação da Amadora que teve a modalidade até ao ano de 2014 também foi afetado por essa desertificação da modalidade. O desaparecimento do clube na modalidade deveu-se sobretudo a fatores financeiros e principalmente a uma má gestão de recursos, pois como já fora referido, a modalidade é amadora em Portugal e como tal, qualquer clube deverá ter em atenção todas as variáveis que envolvem a atividade de modo a que os resultados pretendidos pelo desenvolvimento e implementação da inovação sejam os mais positivos possíveis. E foi a pensar nessa mesma inovação que a minha pessoa, Rúben Santos em conjunto com o atual treinador da equipa, João Silva em 2015 procuraram recuperar a modalidade junto do Clube de Natação da Amadora, no entanto com uma gestão, com ideais, projetos, estratégias, e ambições completamente diferentes daquelas que levaram ao desaparecimento do clube. Como fora compreendido ao longo deste mestrado, a liderança das organizações deverá ter a consciência plena das potencialidades das empresas de modo a desenvolver e implementar uma forte cultura de inovação baseada nos seus colaboradores. Essa cultura de inovação deverá ser aplicada através de uma boa estrutura organizacional, um bom clima organizacional e de uma liderança adequada. Se estes requisitos forem cumpridos as organizações conseguirão desenvolver fortes vantagens competitivas baseadas na inovação. Os casos de sucesso no mundo empresarial não surgiram do nada, apenas com trabalho e planeamento é que os objetivos serão cumpridos. Nesta investigação, pretende-se transmitir para o publico, que mesmo neste caso de estudo em que se trata de uma modalidade amadora, é possível existir rentabilidade, apenas é necessário um planeamento estratégico adequado à realidade vivida.
In this investigation it will be addressed a theme that involves all curricular activities of the Gestão e Empreendedorismo master's degree at ISCAL, in a practical study that is the Water polo team of Amadora. This case study aims to the entrepreneurship of the master's degree because this sport belongs in a amateur league nationwide, it has many costs associated by this practice and it is currently passing a crisis due to the loss of teams nationwide, the Clube de Natação da Amadora, had this sport until the year of 2014, and it was also a target of this disappearing. The dissolution of water polo was due to financial factors and a bad resource management, like said before, it is an amateur sport, the sporting club should consider all variables that affects the activity, with the goal of reaching the appointed goals by the development and implementation of innovation that aims to be the utmost positive. By this ideology that i, Rúben Santos and my current coach João Silva, in the year of 2015, aimed to bring back this sport for the Clube de Natação da Amadora, with the thought and carefulness of idea management, projects, strategies and ambitions completely different that those of the past, that lead to the extinction of the sporting club. Like it was understood by the course of this master's degree, organizational leadership should have the plane conscience of the potentialities like of a company with the goal of developing and implementing a strong culture of innovation based on its employees. This culture of innovation needs to be applied via a strong and well structed management team, a good working environment and a proper leadership. If these requirements are met, then the organization as a team will grow with a strong competitive advantage based on innovation. The previouse case studies in the management world haven't grown out of the ground, with hard work and good planning it is possible to reach the main objective. In this research, it was intended to bring to the public, the idea that an amateur sport, can reach a profitability status but it is necessary a strategic planning suitable to the state of current affairs currently lived nationwide.
