Jürgen Habermas revisita a transformação estrutural da esfera pública mais de seis décadas depois da publicação daquele que é o seu livro mais bem-sucedido. A digitalização e consequente plataformização mediática levam-no a temer pelo futuro dos processos de formação da opinião pública e da vontade política e a propor a regulação dos media digitais para garantir a continuidade de uma esfera pública política e da democracia.

Digitalization and consequent media platformization lead him to fear for the future of the processes of public opinion formation and political will and to propose the regulation of digital media to ensure the continuity of a political public sphere and democracy.
