Abstract(s)
O presente projecto assenta no desenvolvimento de um documentário biográfico sobre Drag Queens, a partir do qual se pretende discutir questões relacionadas com a identidade de género. Os pontos de vista dos artistas, a sua visão sobre a arte Drag e o que ela representa para eles, servem para alargar o nosso entendimento desta dicotomia, e neste caso, da distância entre as personagens e os seus criadores. Assim, iremos procurar estabelecer uma relação entre identidade de género do artista e aquela que lhe pode ser atribuída pela profissão. Jorge Fonseca e Lola Bunny, são os nossos guias neste documentário, que pretende desconstruir estereótipos associados a esta profissão artística.
ABSTRACT: The present project is based on the creation of a biographical documentary about Drag Queens, which aims to discuss issues related to gender identity. The artists' points of view, their view of Drag art and what it represents to them serve to broaden our understanding of this dichotomy, and in this case, the distance between the characters and their creators. Thus, we will seek to establish a relationship between the artist's gender identity and that which can be attributed to him by the profession. Jorge Fonseca and Lola Bunny, will be our guides in this documentary, which aims to deconstruct stereotypes associated with this artistic profession.
