Este relatório, desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Jornalismo da Escola Superior de
Comunicação Social do Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, resulta de um estágio curricular
realizado no Departamento de Informação do canal de televisão SIC (Sociedade
Independente de Comunicação), entre 16 de janeiro e 16 de junho de 2023.
Neste trabalho, apresentam-se as principais fases do estágio e o trabalho desenvolvido
nas várias editorias que integrei, procurando refletir acerca dos conhecimentos
adquiridos, bem como dos principais desafios e constrangimentos enfrentados.
Este relatório tem ainda como objetivo compreender as características principais, as
condições de trabalho e a relevância do repórter televisivo, tendo como estudo de caso a
SIC. Assim, através da análise bibliográfica, observação participante e realização de
entrevistas, estuda-se o repórter e a reportagem neste órgão de comunicação, visando
contribuir para um melhor conhecimento do jornalismo televisivo.
ABSTRACT: This report, developed as part of the Master's Degree in Journalism at the School of Communication and Media Studies of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, is the result of a curricular internship carried out in the Information Department of the television channel SIC (Sociedade Independente de Comunicação), between January 16 and June 16, 2023. This work presents the main stages of the internship and the work carried out in the various editorial offices I worked in, seeking to reflect on the knowledge acquired, as well as the main challenges and constraints faced. This report also aims to understand the main characteristics, working conditions and relevance of the television reporter, using SIC as a case study. Thus, through bibliographical analysis, participant observation and interviews, the reporter and reporting in this media organisation are studied, with the aim of contributing to a better understanding of television journalism.
