Abstract(s)
A observação direta e o
fases regulamentadas do Estágio.
ABSTRACT: Prepared under the Master in Dance Education, this report refers to the internship, held at Academia de Dança do Vale do Sousa, and it aims to demystify the use of technical touch in the correction of Classical Dance Technique students and it still intends to stress the importance of the technical touch as a pedagogical correction tool. The sample is composed of students of the 3rd year, with whom it was developed a set of strategies and methodological approaches in the field of Classical Dance Technique discipline and particularly the inclusion of touch as a technical correction tool. In this sense, it was applied a methodology of action-research, collecting and processing information in a constant dynamic. Direct observation and daily diaries allowed to assess the methodology and improve the structure of the classes, continuing the proposed work during the week, by the resident teacher. This dynamic was achieved by the fact that the trainee was present twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, performing in an articulated manner the different phases of the regulated internship. The understanding of how the students of this level of education perceived and reacted to touch in the correction of technique, used during a Classical Dance Technique class, was the main goal. There was a concern in data collection related to the theme of the internship, i.e. to meet the pre-established sense of touch in technical classes. The program’s content, acquired and intended for this year, was also a main concern. Together with the teacher and school, strategies were met allowing to establish the internship’s theme throughout the execution of the required content. The literature review provided a framework of issues related to touch and essential support recording and collecting data. Through the data analysis, it was found that students generally react very positively to the touch as a technical correction tool.
