Abstract(s)
Este relatório de projeto na especialidade em coreografia, desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Criação Coreográfica e Práticas Profissionais, tem como objetivo apresentar e analisar o processo de criação da obra coreográfica TAKE de São Castro e António M Cabrita. A obra integra dimensões artísticas, técnicas e teóricas, refletindo uma prática profissional multidisciplinar. A singularidade do discurso dos coreógrafos contemporâneos reside na interconexão de várias competências, este relatório articula fundamentos teóricos com a experiência profissional do autor enquanto coreógrafo.
O processo de criação de TAKE decorreu de 28 de agosto a 20 de outubro de 2023, culminando na sua estreia a 21 de outubro de 2023, no Teatro Municipal de Ourém. A criação envolveu a colaboração com outros criativos, incluindo a compositora, a designer de luz e a figurinista, embora as principais decisões criativas tenham sido tomadas pelos coautores. A metodologia incluiu fases de transmissão de movimento, improvisação estruturada e a integração das singularidades artísticas e individuais dos intérpretes-bailarinos. Este relatório detalha as dinâmicas colaborativas e cocriativas, as competências técnicas e interpretativas dos intérpretes-bailarinos e as abordagens teóricas e práticas utilizadas na criação de TAKE.
ABSTRACT - This project report in the specialty of choreography, developed as part of the Master's in Choreographic Creation and Professional Practices, aims to present, and analyze the creation process of the choreographic work TAKE by São Castro and António M Cabrita. The work integrates artistic, technical, and theoretical dimensions, reflecting a multidisciplinary professional practice. The uniqueness of the contemporary choreographer’s discourse lies in the interconnection of various skills; this report articulates theoretical foundations with the author's professional experience as a choreographer. The creation process of TAKE took place from August 28 to October 20, 2023, culminating in its premiere on October 21, 2023, at the Ourém Municipal Theater. The creation involved collaboration with other creatives, including the composer, the lighting designer, and the costume designer, although the main creative decisions were made by the co-authors. The methodology included phases of movement transmission, structured improvisation, and the integration of the artistic and individual singularities of the dancer-performers. This report details the collaborative and co-creative dynamics, the technical and interpretive skills of the dancer-performers, and the theoretical and practical approaches used in the creation of TAKE.
