| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho analisa os contextos da realidade virtual e os conceitos de imersĂŁo, ilusĂŁo e suspensĂŁo da descrença no contexto da arte cĂ©nica. Para isso se tem como objecto o espetĂĄculo ZERO que Ă© definido como uma Realidade Virtual Artesanal ou nĂŁo Assistida. O conceito de presença/telepresença vai ser tambĂ©m aqui procurado no sentido que sua definição clarifica que: o que se pode chamar de realidade virtual Ă© antes uma relação que se estabelece com a imagem ou com o mĂ©dium independentemente de como a imagem Ă© produzida. O objectivo Ă© estender conceitos que geralmente estĂŁo ligados Ă tecnologia a um mundo tĂŁo artesanal como o objecto em causa â ZERO. TambĂ©m se pretende descrever de que forma estes conceitos podem ser transferidos de uma esfera digital para um terreno de produção de imagem direta e em tempo real. A estereoscopia enquanto fenĂłmeno e a aplicação da luz de Estado SĂłlido para criação de imagens tridimensionais ocupam um lugar preponderante nesta relação, pois o objecto foi criado e desenvolvido para visĂ”es e vistas individuais para a criação de um estado coletivo. Ao longo deste trabalho tambĂ©m se pretende definir o conceito de Ăltima Imagem. Um conceito processual que se descreve em linhas gerais como momento de suspensĂŁo do dispositivo da imagem e a suspensĂŁo do espectador enquanto aquele que analisa. | dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT - The present work analyzes the contexts of virtual reality and the concepts of immersion, illusion and suspension of disbelief in the context of performing art. For this reason, the object is the ZERO â performance, defined as handcrafted or nonassisted Virtual Reality. The concept of presence/telepresence is also developed, in the sense that itâs definition makes clear that what may be called Virtual Reality is first and foremost a relationship that is established with the image or with the mĂ©dium, regardless of the way in which the image is produced. The objective is to extend concepts that are usually connected to techonology to a world as handcrafted as the object at stake â ZERO. The aim is also to describe how these concepts can be transferred from a digital sphere to the field of production of real time direct image. Stereoscopy as a phenomenon and the application of the Solid State Light to create three dimensional objects play a key role in this relationship, as the object was created and developed for individual visions and views in order to create a collective state. This work also seeks to define the concept of the Last Image. A processual concept that is broadly described as the moment of suspension of the image device and the suspension of the spectator as the analyzing agent. Last Image is the suspension of the representative structure in response to a new relationship witht the image. | pt_PT |
