O trabalho apresentado explora de que forma a comédia e a tragédia podem coexistir num produto audiovisual. Ao longo dos últimos anos, assistimos a fenómenos de inserção e combinação de elementos narrativos e técnicas audiovisuais de diferentes géneros, que originam novos produtos no mercado audiovisual. No mais, são cada vez mais os produtos audiovisuais que utilizam elementos cringe e de embaraço visceral na sua narrativa, dando origem às cringe comedies. Este género obteve sucesso perante as suas audiências devido à naturalidade e realismo associados, que criam sensações de prazer, identificação e empatia na audiência. Este projeto apresenta um episódio original da cringe comedy Síndrome de Girassol, uma série que se foca na representação do transtorno bipolar e no fenómeno de quarter-life crisis.
ABSTRACT: The presented work explores how comedy and tragedy can coexist in an audiovisual product. Over the past few years, we have witnessed the integration and combination of narrative elements and audiovisual techniques from different genres, resulting in new products in the audiovisual market. Furthermore, an increasing number of audiovisual productions have incorporated cringe elements and visceral embarrassment into their narratives, giving rise to cringe comedies. This genre has achieved success due to the naturalness and realism associated with it, creating feelings of pleasure, identification, and empathy in the audience. This project presents an original episode of the cringe comedy "Síndrome de Girassol," a series that focuses on bipolar disorder and the phenomenon of the quarter-life crisis.
