Este relatório foi realizado com o propósito de concluir do Mestrado em Jornalismo da Escola Superior de Comunicação Social.
O documento aborda duas questões do jornalismo cultural: as fontes onde é frequente ir buscar informação neste tipo de jornalismo e os géneros jornalísticos que predominam na secção de cultura dos jornais generalistas.
A investigação decorreu durante um estágio curricular de 3 meses realizado entre 6 de Janeiro e 4 de Abril de 2014 no jornal PÚBLICO, estágio esse que este relatório vem também explanar.
ABSTRACT: This report was conducted to complete a Journalism Master's Degree at the Higher School of Communication and Media Studies. The document covers two issues of cultural journalism: the sources journalists use to get information on this kind of journalism and the journalistic genres that predominate in the culture section of generalist newspapers. The investigation took place during a 3 months’ curricular internship (between January 6th 2014 and April 4th 2014) held at PÚBLICO newspaper, internship this report also explains.
