Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT - The present master degree dissertation assumes itself as an interdisciplinary study between Health and theatre, having as central axis the concept Presence of the actor. A dissertation grounded in a process of investigation, or in other words, a study that involved as well an theatrical creation experience. The previous theoretical revision was expanded to the subjects of Philosophy, Medicine, Psychology, Nursing, and Theatre itself, in a way of giving perspective to the potential of development of the concept Presence beyond the theatrical context. There were constituted theoretical assumptions to advance consistently in a creation laboratory focused in Presence. In the context of the exploration of this concept, we conducted this laboratory in the light of the predicates of the Community Theatre, where different health professionals (nursing, C. Pharmaceutical, Psychology, Psychomotor Therapy, Medical) and Education (Teachers, kindergarten teachers) experienced development of their respective presence in Theatrical scene. A laboratory of creation underlying the celebration of the centenary Dr.João dos Santos, as the symbolic object developed was transversal to his work. When considering this creation route, we developed a qualitative research study by means of the critical analysis of Fairclough's speech. A discursive construction sustained in two focus groups, before and after its creation laboratory. Discursive findings indicate a significant discursive change with regard to the concept of the Actor Presence, but especially underline the potential of conceptual consolidation of the same concept in the disciplinary health context. An academic subject that reinforces the importance of the interdisciplinary bridge, in the conceptual enrichment and operative of the subjects of health and theatre.
