Resumo I - A primeira secção deste relatório de estágio visa abordar toda a componente referente ao estágio de ensino de Música, na vertente especializada de Trompete. Nesta parte do relatório serão expostas as várias componentes que fazem parte da escola onde foi realizado o estágio e também todo o processo que acompanhou as aulas dos alunos referenciados neste relatório.
O Conservatório de Música de Sintra foi o local onde foi realizado o estágio (local onde leciono) no ano letivo de 2017/2018. Na primeira secção, será feita uma descrição a cerca da escola onde decorreu o estágio, fazendo abordagem ao seu enquadramento histórico, aos diversos cursos lecionados e ás várias atividades propostas pelo Conservatório de Música de Sintra. Na segunda secção, será realizada a descrição dos alunos participantes do estágio, através de uma breve apresentação individual do seu historial académico. Como requisito obrigatório neste relatório, foram elaborados para cada aluno um plano anual e trinta planos de aulas, sendo estes acompanhados por três gravações vídeo realizados em contexto de aula. O estado motivacional dos alunos, as dificuldades de aprendizagem e o trabalho bem executado pelos alunos, irão ser alguns dos pontos principais de análise realizada, tendo como base os princípios de ensino aprendidos nas unidades curriculares do mestrado em ensino.
Resumo II - Na segunda parte do relatório de estágio é onde irá ser desenvolvida a investigação proposta para a conclusão do Mestrado em ensino da Música. O objetivo principal de investigação, foca-se na perspetiva de ensino da “Sequenza X para Trompete e Piano ressonante” de Luciano Berio. Como abertura de capítulo, é realizada uma fundamentação sobre a minhas convicções a cerca da investigação e a motivação para a realização da mesma. Para melhor fundamentar o meu conhecimento sobre a música de Luciano Berio, foi elaborado uma contextualização sobre a música do século XX, destacando as principais mudanças históricas e a par dessas as novas correntes artísticas que foram mudando durante este século. Com o objetivo de encontrar uma resposta mais eficaz, e por necessidade de investigação, foi elaborado um questionário dirigido a professores e alunos de ensino médio e superior, sendo todos eles executantes de trompete. As questões deste questionário foram direcionadas para a problemática do ensino da “Sequenza X”, mais concretamente, sobre qual será a melhor abordagem de preparação desta peça e quais as dificuldades técnicas mais referidas e receadas. No decorrer do questionário foram colocadas questões sobre uma possível inserção da “Sequenza X” no ensino secundário mais avançado (12º ano), uma vez que cada vez mais esta obra é executada em concursos, pretendi perceber a opinião dos participantes sobre este assunto. Para melhor entender sobre a música de Berio, e mais concretamente as “Sequenzas”, foi realizada uma análise sobre a perspetiva geral, em termos musicais e formais, sobre estas diversas obras. Para além da “Sequenza X”, foram abordadas de uma forma mais incisiva mais três obras, a I, III e V “Sequenzas”, para que fosse possível existir uma melhor compreensão da música do compositor, resultando também numa melhor compreensão da obra para trompete. Na última parte da investigação, através da ajuda de um voluntário, foi executado um plano de estudo sobre esta obra, segundo os meus conhecimentos musicais e os resultados do questionário. No final é realizado uma análise sobre o trabalho realizado.
Abstract I - The first section of this report relates to the whole component of the intership in Music education, with particular emphasis on trumpet. In this section it will be exposed the various components present at the school where the intership was accomplished, as well as the entire process used for all the students mentioned in this report.The intership took place at the Conservatório de Música de Sintra (place where I work as trumpet teacher) in the academic year of 2017/2018. A description of the school will be made in the first section, which will foccus on its historical importance, which courses are available in the school and the activities developed throughout the academic year. In second section of this report, a description of each student will be presented through a brief individual presentation of their academic career. As a mandatory requirement, an anual plan and a thirty lesson plan was prepared for each student, and also three vídeo recordings that were conducted inside the lesson context. The motivational state, the learning dificulties as well as the well accomplished work done by the students will be the main issues addressed on this analisys. The entire analisys is based on the principles taught in the courses taken at the Master in music education.
Abstract II - The second stage of this report is where the investigation proposed for this Master degree will take place. The main objective of this investigation is to foccus on the teaching perspective of the “Sequenza X for trumpet and piano” by Luciano Berio. The first chapter is intended to adress my own conviction and motivations about the investigation. In order to gather more knowlegde about the music of Luciano Berio a contextualization about Twentieh century music was elaborated, with foccus on the main historical changes and the new artistic streams that appeared thoughout the century. In order to reach a more efective answer, and also as a necessity for this investigation, a survey was used to reach out the largest possibel number of trumpet players, including professors and students of middle and high level. All the questions of this survey where foccused on the problematics that appear when teaching/learning the “Sequeza X”, with the intention to seak which approach could be more correct when practicing this piece, and which difficulties are more usual and fiered. During the survey the idea of introducing this piece in the high secondary leval (12th grade) was put into perspective, since this piece starting to appear more and more nowadays, my goal was to understand the opinions of both students and professores about this possibility. To understand more about Berio’s Music, and specially his “Sequenzas”, a more general analisys was also made in order to comprehend the musical terms and forms of these various pieces. In addition to “Sequenza X”, three more “Sequenzas” were also approached and analysed (I, III and V), thus possibiliting a more extensive understanding of the composers music, as well as a deeper understanding of his trumpet piece. The last stage of these investigation was completed with the help of a volunteer, in which a plan of study was created according to my musical knowledge of the piece as well as the results obtained in the survey. At the end an analysis is presented about the work and its development.
