| dc.description.abstract | Cada vez mais o empreendedorismo vem ganhando força e espaço na sociedade. Vários autores estudam o fenômeno a várias décadas, e na literatura é possível encontrar diversas definições. No entanto, todas convergem para o mesmo aspecto, de que o indivíduo que decide empreender é aquele disposto a assumir riscos. Desta forma, a presente dissertação tem por objetivo identificar o perfil do imigrante brasileiro, como este está inserido na economia portuguesa por meio do empreendedorismo, os contributos sociais e económicos e quais os desafios enfrentados ao empreender em Portugal. De acordo com o relatório de Imigração, Fronteiras e Asilo publicado em 2021, pelo Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (SEF), a comunidade brasileira representa 29,3% dos estrangeiros residentes em Portugal, sendo, portanto, a maior comunidade estrangeira em solo português. Comparativamente aos anos de 2019 e 2020, onde os brasileiros representavam, respectivamente, 25,6% e 27,8% do total de residentes estrangeiros, é notório o aumento desse fluxo migratório. Além desse aumento, o perfil desse imigrante mudou ao longo dos anos, sendo o empreendedorismo uma das portas de entrada para o país luso. Para chegar aos objetivos estabelecidos, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa por meio de inquérito, de natureza aplicada, em uma abordagem quantitativa com base em métodos empíricos. A importância deste estudo é preencher uma lacuna de conhecimento sobre as incertezas que o imigrante brasileiro tem de enfrentar em um ambiente adverso ao seu de origem, quais os fatores que levaram tal decisão e qual a contribuição que estes podem deixar para a comunidade portuguesa através da sua visão empreendedora. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Entrepreneurship is gaining increasing strength and prominence in society. Several authors have been studying this phenomenon for several decades, and in the literature, it is possible to find various definitions. However, they all converge on the same aspect: the individual who decides to undertake is willing to take risks. Therefore, this dissertation aims to identify the profile of Brazilian immigrants, how they are integrated into the Portuguese economy through entrepreneurship, their social and economic contributions, and the challenges they face when starting a business in Portugal. According to the Immigration, Borders and Asylum report published in 2021, by the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF), the Brazilian community represents 29.3% of foreigners residing in Portugal, making it the largest foreign community in Portuguese territory. Compared to 2019 and 2020, when Brazilians represented, respectively, 25.6% and 27.8% of the total number of foreign residents, the increase in this migratory flow is remarkable. In addition to this increase, the profile of these immigrants has changed over the years, with entrepreneurship being one of the pathways to Portugal. To achieve the established objectives, this research was developed through an applied survey, using a quantitative approach based on empirical methods. The significance of this study lies a knowledge gap about the challenges that Brazilian immigrants face in an foreign environment, the factors that led to such a decision and the contributions they can leave to the Portuguese community through their entrepreneurial vision. | eng |
