Este trabalho analisa as transformações da encenação teatral na contemporaneidade, investigando o surgimento da dramaturgia expandida e suas relações com a performance e o corpo do ator. Aborda o papel da cidade como espaço de criação e os desafios da "globalização perversa" e da "indústria cultural" para o teatro. Propõe uma reflexão sobre a busca por um teatro que transcenda as fronteiras tradicionais e se afirme como ferramenta de transformação social e cultural.
ABSTRACT - This work examines the transformations of theatrical staging in contemporary times, investigating the emergence of expanded dramaturgy and its relationship with performance and the actor's body. It addresses the role of the city as a space for creation and the challenges of "perverse globalization" and the "cultural industry" for theater. It proposes a reflection on the search for a theater that transcends traditional boundaries and asserts itself as a tool for social and cultural transformation.
