Abstract(s)
O absentismo laboral é uma questão relevante em todas as atividades. Os trabalhadores podem estar sujeitos a fatores intrínsecos ou extrínsecos e aumentarem ou diminuírem o absentismo nas organizações. Assim, é proposto verificar numa indústria de transformação de produtos alimentares congelados se as condições de higiene e segurança no trabalho impactam o absentismo numa indústria transformadora. Foram utilizados os dados dos registos de falta pelos motivos de parentalidade, acidentes de trabalho, doença e assistência à família, faltas justificadas e injustificadas. O foco principal foi perceber se os acidentes de trabalho contribuíam para o absentismo, no entanto, foi verificado que a maior causa de absentismo não era efetivamente por questões de acidentes de trabalho, mas devido a motivos de doença. As condições do ambiente de trabalho não são de todo as mais favoráveis, tendo em conta que os trabalhadores passam a sua jornada sempre em pé num ambiente climatizado para temperaturas frias, com muito ruído e sem luz natural. Propunha-se uma análise aos relatórios dos acidentes de trabalho para validação entre o que se verifica no terreno e as queixas dos trabalhadores.
ABSTRACT - Occupational absenteeism is a relevant issue in all activities. Workers may be subject to intrinsic or extrinsic factors and increase or decrease absenteeism in organizations. Thus, a verification is proposed in a processing industry of frozen food products under conditions of hygiene and safety at work that impact or absent the manufacturing industry. Data from absence records were used for reasons of parenting, work accidents, illness, and family assistance, justified and unjustified absences. The focus was to understand if accidents at work contributed to absenteeism. However, it was found that the main cause of absenteeism was not actually due to accidents at work, but due to illness reasons. The conditions of the working environment are not at all the most favorable, considering that workers spend their journey always standing in an air-conditioned environment for cold temperatures, with a lot of noise and without natural light. It was proposed to analyze the reports of sick leave for validation between what is happening in the field and the workers' complaints.
