Abstract(s)

The media have presented biotechnological advances as human achievements without taking into account their possible dangerous effects or the ethical questions they raise. The representation that they make of the so-called feats of biotechnology are simplistic and in favor of "spectacle technology". This "spectacle technology" is fueled by the promises of biotechnology, as we have noticed with the DNA and RNA vaccines against the coronavirus.
