Abstract(s)
Teaching writing is a matter that has been present in the agendas of political decision-makers and researchers in Portugal. The analysis of teaching and learning orthography has not been a priority when it comes to research, and it is evident that in most classrooms practical classes resort exclusively to memorisation. In this article an evaluation of teaching methods associated with orthography is put forward, with data from an ongoing classroom project being presented in order to enhance orthography's teaching practices.
