Abstract(s)
Muro: uma tela a céu aberto (NDI/MEN/CED/UFSC)‖.
Diante do trabalho desenvolvido,
The purpose of this paper is to expand reflections on the construction of pedagogical practices that recognize and value early childhood poetics in the field of the arts in the context of daily early childhood education. The work is related to a study conducted in the field of education entitled ―Poetic Encounters: Experiences of artistic creation of children in early childhood education in dialog with contemporary art‖ and presents a group of pedagogical proposals engendered in the extension Project ―Art on the Wall: an outdoor canvas (NDI/MEN/CED/UFSC)‖. Using theoretical supports from art, philosophy, education and early childhood pedagogy, we present and discuss pedagogical practices undertaken outdoors, aimed at strengthening the imagination, the expansion of the sensitive body and the poetic creation of small children – from two to two years and eleven months – in a meeting with the materiality Earth. By speaking of the construction of pedagogical practices, we defend that they be based on an image of children that is potentially rich, social, corporal, cultural and sensitive; guided and constituted in and by ludic and imaginative experiences that emerge from their encounters with the other and the materialities that compose the world. We understand the space for artistic creation beyond the classroom or studio. Considering the work conducted, we point to the need and potential for incorporation of natural materialities in the education of young children, as well as spaces that can harbor and stimulate the experimentations and poetics of children in early childhood education.
