Abstract(s)
Both processes of developing new products and the integration of suppliers are crucial for the existence of competitive businesses and companies, which means that the integration of suppliers in the development of new projects, has become a critical factor for success both business and companies. At national level, there is a lack of articles related to this topic, thus making this one of the main reasons for choosing this challenge. The main objective of this dissertation is to be able to demonstrate, using real data that the integration of suppliers in companie’s projects, becomes a reality with great contributions to both parties. In this way, its usefulness is guaranteed, for business environments. The literature review was carried out gradually. Firstly, basic topics such as innovation were approached, that is, the creation of new products in companies, going through an approach to suppliers and finally, the types of relationship between supplier and customer. To validate the knowledge sharing models between customer and supplier, a case study was developed, in a company developing a gray box collaborative project. The case study aims to clarify how knowledge sharing occurs in collaborative projects. With its elaboration it was possible to identify how knowledge sharing occurs, during the process of developing new products and how to optimize existing models. In other words, it demonstrates that there are different forms of sharing during each phase of the Development process, that the degree of sharing is directly proportional to the degree of involvement of the companies and that each type of relationship generates a type of knowledge sharing.
