Abstract(s)
As instalações do Colégio Pedro Arrupe caracterizam-se de forma única e particular pelo isolamento térmico exterior utilizado para combater as cargas térmicas. O complexo escolar é composto por diversos blocos (salas de aula, biblioteca, ginásio, piscina, cafetaria e direcção). Este trabalho pretende apresentar o projecto de Aquecimento, Ventilação e Ar Condicionado (AVAC) do bloco da Piscina.
Por forma a melhor suportar a escolha e selecção dos equipamentos dimensionados, é feito um enquadramento teórico dos equipamentos actualmente existentes no mercado, bem com como alguns conceitos e metodologias de cálculo.
Como suporte e apoio à base de cálculo das cargas térmicas do edifício e dimensionamento de alguns sistemas e equipamentos, recorreu-se ao uso do software da Carrier – HAP Hour Analysis Program (Carrier, n.d.). Trata-se de um software que foi desenhado para engenheiros e projectistas de AVAC para o design, dimensionamento e análise energética de sistemas de AVAC.
O elemento diferenciador comparado com outros projectos de AVAC foca-se na elevada carga térmica latente presente nos diversos espaços, com especial foco na zona da piscina.
Cada vez mais existe uma maior preocupação ambiental e maior necessidade de redução de custos devido ao consumo energético dos sistemas AVAC. Juntando esta necessidade com a constante necessidade de desumidificação que existirá nos espaços a climatizar deste edifício, foi possível obter uma solução com elevado reaproveitamento energético nos sistemas dimensionados para a Piscina e Balneários.
The infrastructure of School Pedro Arrupe is characterized by its singular external thermal barrier used to minimize external thermal loads. The scholar complex is composed by several buildings (classrooms, library, gymnasium, swimming pool, cafeteria, and administration). This paper intends to present a project of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) of the pool building. To support the selection of the HVAC systems designed, it’s done a theoretical research of the equipments currently in the market, as well as soma base concepts and calculation methods. To calculate the thermal loads and the design of all the systems implied was used a Carrier’s software – Hour Analysis Program. It’s a software designed for HAVC engineers for the design, sizing and energy analysis of the HVAC systems. More often than ever, there is a bigger concern regarding the environment and more need to reduce energy consumption in the HVAC systems. Adding this to the constant need of dehumidification of the spaces of the building, it’s been possible to develop a solution with high energy recovery in the designed systems for the pool and balnearies.
