No início de 2020, o surgimento do SARS-CoV-2 causou inúmeros distúrbios à sociedade. O ensino acabou por ser afetado com o encerramento de estabelecimentos de ensino e milhões de estudantes foram forçados a isolar-se. Levantou-se assim, a necessidade de explorar formas de ensino à distância. Neste projeto foi desenvolvida uma solução de Mobile Learning que permite a aprendizagem de conteúdos didático-pedagógicos, possibilitando a aprendizagem em qualquer lugar e a qualquer momento. O sistema desenvolvido consiste numa aplicação móvel que apresenta os conteúdos didático-pedagógicos e uma plataforma de gestão destes conteúdos. A aplicação móvel também permite que os utilizadores testem as suas competências com a realização de testes de avaliação de conhecimentos, permitindo que os utilizadores identifiquem os temas a consolidar. Foram, ainda, introduzidos elementos de gamificação para motivar os utilizadores a utilizar com regularidade aplicação. Por sua vez, a plataforma de gestão possibilita que o(s) especialista(s) possa(m) criar e editar os conteúdos a serem apresentados na aplicação. Atualmente, estes conteúdos são no âmbito da aprendizagem sobre materiais de construção. Com base nos testes de usabilidade realizados, a aplicação móvel desenvolvida apresenta uma boa usabilidade de acordo com o System Usability Scale (_= 81:25). Contudo, foram identificados problemas de usabilidade que devem ser corrigidos em versões futuras da aplicação.
In early 2020, the emergence of SARS-CoV-2 caused numerous disturbances to society. The education system was eventually affected by the closure of educational establishments and millions of students were forced to isolate themselves. Thus, the need to explore forms of distance learning arose. In this project, a Mobile Learning solution was developed that allows the learning of didactic and pedagogical content, enabling learning anywhere and at any time. The developed system consists of a mobile application that presents the didactic and pedagogical contents and a management platform for these contents. The mobile application also allows users to test their skills by carrying out knowledge assessment tests, allowing users to identify topics to be consolidated. Gamification elements were also introduced to motivate users to regularly use the application. In turn, the management platform allows the specialist(s) to create and edit the contents to be presented in the application. Currently, these contents are within the scope of learning about construction materials. Based on the usability tests performed, the developed mobile application presents good usability according to the System Usability Scale (µ = 81:25). However, usability issues have been identified that should be fixed in future versions of the application.
