Abstract(s)
O objecto de estudo, aqui privilegiado, centra-se nos processos de transição do
ensino secundário para o superior a partir de uma realidade concreta e com
especificidades próprias como as do Instituto Politécnico de Santarém (IPS). Para tal
lançou-se um inquérito aos alunos do primeiro ano deste Instituto com o fim de se
proceder a uma caracterização social do recrutamento e trajectórias escolares; e, em
articulação, à análise da formação de escolhas acerca da formação que pretendem
desenvolver.
Abstract The main study object of this project focuses on the transition processes between secondary and higher education, particularly considering the specific context of Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (IPS). In order to do so, it applied a survey to the 1st year students of the Institute. This way, a social characterization of the recruitment and school paths of the students was attempted and an analysis of focusing on how students choose the subjects/matters they want to develop too.
