Por outro lado explanar o que o mercado tem para oferecer, quantos fundos de investimento imobiliário existem, como poderão ser comercializados, quais os montantes sob gestão, que entidades regulam o fundo de investimento imobiliário. Procura-se também estudar, em particular, a evolução, ao longo do ano de 2006 a 2009 do fundo de investimento imobiliário Fundimo analisando a variação do valor das unidades de participação, a diversidade do activo ao longo do período e a forma como esta pode influenciar o valor do fundo, a rendibilidade obtida e os riscos associados.This dissertation seeks to disseminate the real estate investment trusts, explaining the investor about the diversity of existing typologies, which one best suits your requirements or preferences for investment, what are the advantages and disadvantages of its use as a financial product. Furthermore we will explain what the market has to offer, how many investment funds are, how they can be marketed, what are the amounts under management and the entities that regulate the real estate investment fund.
